Keyana Marshall also known as Keyana Alicia was born and raised in Chicago. After attending Governors State University she received a B.A in Communication, specializing in PR and Advertising. Keyana is a freelance photographer and event planner who is currently pursuing her M.A. in Media Studies. She has organized concerts featuring The Boy Illinois and King Louie, as well as putting together the first South Chicagoland Hair Expo “THE MANE EVENT”, featuring many well known Chicago Hair Vloggers and Entrepreneurs. Her professional sales, marketing, and development experience includes working for organizations and companies such as Empower PR, Lyric Opera, Goodman Theatre, Harris Theater for Music and Dance, United Center, Lollapalooza, and Comic Con just to name a few. She is also the co-host of a millennial podcast titled Homework Time. Keyana’s ultimate goal is to bring together the young black leaders of the city in order to change Chicago for the better.
